Tudor Reunion

On my Mum’s side of the family we grew up having huge family get-togethers every Boxing day and carnival day in the small town of Wem. Sadly a lot of my Gran’s generation aren’t with us any more and Hazel and Johns’ big house, Bodwyn, where we used to gather was sold on. I know everyone in this photo feels especially strong about the Bodwyn house and family so it is wonderful that we have continued to have special reunions every couple of years.

This time the venue was at the Cotswolds water park for a week and it was great to catch up with everybody again. It was extra special meeting Steve and Aimees’ son for the first time who is called Bodwyn after the special house in Wem. Unfortunately Marc and Sabrina couldn’t be with us as they were grounded in Canada expecting the imminent arrival of their baby Hazel. We all wish them well and can’t wait to meet her soon. As promised here is a collage of everyone’s best bits!

So lots of happy days and nights together on our trip away. As ever with these events, muchos alchohol was drank, a lot of laughter and noise made, cricket was played and “Hey Jude” sang many times. Baby Curry seemed to blossom this week as well having gone from indistinguishable under my tops to huge bump by the end of the week!
