Another awesome Halloween which we had two parties for! At the first we caught up with our Edinburgh pals and threw a treasure hunt for Jojo and Sammy. Peter came dressed as Sully from Monsters Inc in a badly sewn creation by moi. Lol his hat looked like one of those bad ladies swimming caps from the 1950’s. Still he looked very cute toddling around with his purple spots falling off every so often.
Top marks to the Hogwarts students who won all the sweeties in their treasure hunt, even if Jojo wouldn’t put his hands in the white cornstarch gunk and drink the black coloured juice, lol! It all wrapped up with me literally bound in toilet roll like a mummy! This was the first year we got to pumpkin carve with the boys as well which made it extra fun.
Our next party was with all Peter’s friends where the kids all ran riot in fancy dress and trashed the living room with toys, lol! It was good to catch up with everyone from my antenatal group including the Dads although we did miss Faye, Shaggy & Harris.
It’s so strange to see all the babies (our big babies!) walking around everywhere. They all have such lovely individual personalities … Ailsa loves kissing the others, Immogen investigates everything, Graces climbs up everything, Jack is obsessed with kitchens and Hope like sitting in boxes! Peter is still very shy at the moment and spent the first part of the party clinging to my leg but soon enough he was strutting around, showing everyone his musical chair and demolishing all the food.
