A Spring Christening

Today we went to a lovely christening in Heriot. It was one of Peter’s little friends, baby Immogen. Her mum Cat, is one of the NCT girls I see each week. The church was beautiful in a very tranquil countryside setting. I would like to go walking here in the future.

Little Immi was very smiley all day and looked very pretty in her Dad’s christening gown. Afterwards Cat and Mark had a great party at their beautiful house. It was like stepping into Grand Designs! I’m so glad the weather was amazing for them. Everyone had lots of fun drinking pink bubbly, scoffing sausage baps and jumping on the bouncing castle.

It was so nice that all the girls from the group I see each week came along with their partners and babies. It was a nice rare chance for us girls to hand the children over to the dads, gossip, and dress up. From the left is, Elaine, Laura, Margaret, Cat, Faye, Jan & Me.

It’s just a shame that Peter wasn’t feeling well. He has a terrible cold complete with barking cough, streaming nose, infected eyes and a puffy face. Poor thing, I just hope April is a healthy month for him and he feels better soon.

Got lots of nice pictures of everyone and their families. Too many to post so have uploaded a gallery on picassa. TO view, click this LINK.
